Solutions for pharmacies
This pharmacy POS software sells a medicine as a full box, a strip or single tablets, asks for the prescription number before payment on items that need one, and prints a pick list so the medicines are gathered while the customer waits. It is the Point of Sale app with the shop set to Pharmacy.
It is a till and a stock count, built for the counter. It is not a dispensing system, and the section below says plainly what it leaves out.
What you switch on: Point of Sale.
Each job, the app that handles it, and the screens you will use, named as they appear on the menu.
Add the shop with the business type Pharmacy, add a till for each counter, and pair a device with each one.
Point of Sale: Outlets & Registers
Each item can say how its pack breaks down into strips and tablets, its generic name, and whether it needs a prescription. A strip with no price of its own is worked out from the pack, rounded up.
Point of Sale: Items & Prices
Scanning an item with packs opens a Box, Strip or Tablet picker, and the line reads, for example, 2 Strips. An item that needs a prescription asks for its number before payment.
Point of Sale: The Till
The batch number and expiry date can be noted on each line from the pack, and both print on the receipt.
Point of Sale: The Till, Sales & Receipts
The till captures the customer name and phone, and prints a pick list beside the receipt so the medicines are gathered while the customer waits.
Point of Sale: The Till
Shelves records numbered shelves and the items on them, Labels & Barcodes prints labels as a PDF sheet, and Stock keeps the count for each place.

Count the drawer, then read Sales, Tax By Rate, Refunds and Shifts & Variance in Reports, and download any of them as CSV, a spreadsheet or a PDF.

Yes. Set how many strips are in a box and tablets in a strip, and the till offers Box, Strip or Tablet. Price the strip yourself, or let it be worked out from the box price.
It records the prescription number on the sale line for items marked Needs a prescription, and will not take payment until one is typed. It does not hold prescriptions or patient records.
The batch and expiry can be noted on each sale line and print on the receipt. Stock is a count per place, not per batch, so there are no expiry alerts.
Yes. The till keeps its own copy of items and prices, holds the sales on the device, and sends them when it reconnects.
Yes. Add each branch as a shop with its own tills. A shop selector at the top of every back office page filters to one branch or shows them all.
