This page describes how the platform works today, and we keep it current as the product changes. It is not legal advice.
The standard we aim at
WCAG 2.1 level AA, for this website and for the product.
This page says "aim at" rather than "conform to", and the difference is deliberate. A conformance claim means an audit happened. One has not.
What has been checked on this site
Each of these has been tested rather than assumed, most of them by measurement at several screen sizes.
- Keyboard reach and a visible focus ring on every interactive element, including the ones that only appear on hover.
- Colour contrast in both the light and the dark theme.
- Headings in order, with one first-level heading per page.
- A reduced motion preference that is honoured: the banner stops advancing, and the animations stop rather than merely shortening.
- Text that grows on small screens rather than shrinking, and no horizontal scrolling down to a 320px viewport.
- A skip-to-content link, and images that either carry alternative text or are correctly marked decorative.
What has not been checked
This site has not been tested with a screen reader by somebody who uses one daily, and it has not been audited by a third party. Those are the two tests that find what automated checking cannot, and saying otherwise would be the easiest sentence on this page to write and the least true.
The product itself has had far less accessibility attention than this website. It is the larger surface and the more important one, and that is the honest current state.
Tell us
If something here blocks you, write to support@execcortex.com and say what you were trying to do. That is more useful to us than a standards reference, because it tells us what actually broke.
We will fix it and tell you when it is done. If a fix is going to take a while, we will say so and offer another way to get the thing done in the meantime.
Questions about any of this, or want to exercise a right? Open a data request or write to us.
